The Trump administration is digging into thousands of refugee cases to root out fraud and remove anyone who lied to get in. USCIS just surged teams to reinterview 5,600 refugees who don’t have Green Cards yet. They’re running new background checks and turning cases over to ICE for deportation. They’re not being subtle: DHS says “American citizens and the rule of law come first, always.” This is part of Trump’s Executive Order 14161 to tighten vetting and shut down any pathway being abused.
